HRH Prince Mired Raad Zeid Al-Hussein
Chairman of the Board
HRH Prince Mired Raad Zeid Al-Hussein received his BA degree from Tufts University (1987) and his MA degree from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy (1995) in International Relations/Strategic Studies. He continued his education at the University of Cambridge, England, (1998) were he received an M.Phil degree in Historical Studies . In addition, HRH Prince Mired attended the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (1990) and served for several years in the Jordanian Armed Forces. He has spent a large part of his post-military life supporting humanitarian and charitable causes. Presently he is the Chairman of the National Committee for Demining & Rehabilitation, the President of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers, the President of the Higher Council for the Affairs of People with Disabilities, the Special Envoy for Universalazation of Ottawa Treaty and from November 2007 – November 2008 was the President of the 8th Meeting of States Parties to the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention. He lives in Amman, is married, and has 3 children.
Mohammad Breikat
National Director
Mohammad Breikat has been the National Director of the NCDR since May 2005. He was a helicopter pilot with the Royal Jordanian Air Force for 29 years and retired with the rank of Brigadier General. Following his retirement, Mohammad attended 3 major IT courses before joining the Ministry of Education Technology Department for a year and a half. Adnan Telfah
Head of Mine Risk Education/ Victims’ Assistance Department
Adnan Telfah directs the NCDR’s activities in MRE and Victim Assistance. He is responsible for the overall management, coordination and development of his department, in addition to coordinating with other NCDR units and representing the MRE project to external stakeholders. Adnan is a former officer from the Royal Engineering Corps, where he gained 15 years of experience in demining operations, training, and managing other projects. Starting as a field engineer and growing into Engineer Unit Commander (working with the UN) and soon after that promoted to Training Coordinator operating along with the US Embassy till his appointment with the NCDR in 2006, Adnan has also been proactive with other activities that include, among others, A consultant for International and National MRE and VA programming, a member in the National Strategy for Disability, and contact Officer with international and national Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations. Telfah has a degree in physics from Mutah University, Jordan, and a Diploma in water management and engineering from the Naval Oceanographic Office in Mississippi, USA. He has a solid experience in project management, fund raising and Grant management, training, Capacity Building and Monitoring and Evaluation. Abdallah Ramadan
Operations Manager
Abdallah Ramadan has been the Operations Manager of the NCDR since October 2013. He was an Engineering Officer with the Royal Engineering Corps for 21 years and retired with a rank of Lt Colonel. He graduated with a BA in Law Science from Mu’tah University 1989.He joined NCDR June 2006 as QA&QC Officer, and Lead the QM Team from Jan 2008 to Oct 2013.He attended all courses in Mine Action in NCDR and participated in many courses and International conventional & workshops. Saher Arabiat
Logistic Officer
